Your baby can enjoy a well-equipped playroom with separate sleeping and changing areas, plus arts and crafts, music and movement, sensory play, treasure baskets, sand, water and play dough. Your family will also receive a daily feedback sheet.
Your child can build confidence through stimulating challenges and fun learning. Creative and messy activities encourage them to explore, socialise, share and make friends, with sleep available whenever they need it.
Your child can enjoy a self-contained playroom, a cosy story corner and dedicated spaces for messy activities and relaxed mealtimes, with a separate sleep room available when needed.
Your child can explore literacy, numeracy, discussion and creativity across two large pre-school rooms. Every space incorporates Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence and encourages growing independence.
Food at Gilmerton
Healthy, balanced menus are carefully planned and freshly prepared by nursery chefs in consultation with nutritionists. Family-style mealtimes help children learn to serve themselves, share conversation and clear away. Gardening and cookery activities encourage healthy choices.
Medical, allergy, religious and cultural dietary requirements can be discussed with the Nursery Manager.
